The Jimmy Fund 75th Anniversary

In 2023, we are celebrating 75 years of progress and impact made possible by the Jimmy Fund. Since the original “Jimmy” shared his story through a radio broadcast at his hospital bedside in Boston on May 22, 1948, inspiring donations from across the country, the generosity of millions has helped the Jimmy Fund directly support Dana-Farber’s mission of turning groundbreaking research into lifesaving treatment. We will honor the day of the national radio broadcast anniversary on May 22, 2023 in our community with commemorative activities and throughout the year with more than 450 fundraising events and programs. Join us as we celebrate the power of 75 years of community and show that together, we’re all Jimmy, and we can defy cancer.
